Crown Heights United Methodist Church has been sharing God’s love in the heart of Oklahoma City since 1929. We are proud to be part of a vital and energetic neighborhood with a rich diversity and a promising future.

We are a community of Christians who recognizes that we are all on a spiritual journey. As we worship, study, pray and serve together, our faith is stretched and encouraged. We welcome all to our worship services, study opportunities, mission outreach events, and music program, indeed, to all our varied activities.

Our Core Values

• Welcoming - As a United Methodist Community we believe God is at work in everyone's lives, often before we realize it. Christ meets every one of us and brings us near. In response to Christ's welcome, at Crown Heights UMC our aim is to welcome all people.
• Serving - Our Community is able to function and flourish by following the example Jesus in his service to others. There are many ways in which we are able to give and serve, reflecting the diverse nature of our God-given talents.
• Rooted - Crown Heights UMC is a Christian community which interacts with the Bible as we recognize God's unique presence within it. We draw from the rich streams of Christian Tradition, with special attention to our own United Methodist stream. We do this to inform our everyday lives and guide us, as we discern where the Holy Spirit is leading us today.
• Missional - We believe that God is already active in our world, and we aim to join with God in God's ongoing mission. This means we are engaged with out neighborhood, Oklahoma City metro area, and the wider world. We believe that God has a vision to transform our city in ways that are just and foster human flourishing.
