Worship

“Traditional worship done with energy” describes our approach at Crown Heights. We believe worship to be sacred time spent in a sacred space, and our hymns, prayers, and Scripture readings all contribute to this conviction. Our pastor’s sermons seek to explore the meaning of biblical passages and to connect that message to our everyday lives. Both of our Sunday morning worship services follow a similar pattern. Our 8:30 a.m. service tends to be more reflective and quiet in tone. A distinct feature of this service is the offering of holy communion each Sunday. A grand celebration of our faith marks the 11:00 a.m. service with holy communion on the first Sunday of each month.
