8:30am Worship<\/strong>\u00a0is a fairly traditional service, including Holy Communion every week. You do not have to be a member in order to receive communion. Meets in the\u00a0<\/span>Sanctuary.\u00a0<\/div>\n

Sunday School <\/strong>is from 9:45- 10:45am.<\/span><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
11am Worship <\/strong>is a bit less formal. This service also meets in the\u00a0Sanctuary. We\u00a0have children in for the beginning of worship and youth stay for the whole hour.\u00a0<\/span><\/span> We typically celebrate Holy Communion on the first Sunday of the month.<\/div>\n

Sermon Series: “Out of This World\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

In John 18:36 Jesus said,<\/span>
My kingdom doesn\u2019t originate from this world. If it did, my guards would<\/span>
fight so that I wouldn\u2019t have been arrested by the Jewish leaders. My kingdom<\/span>
isn\u2019t from here.<\/span><\/p>\n

So what exactly is the Kingdom of God?<\/span><\/p>\n

If Jesus’ kingdom is not from this world and if we (Christians) say that Jesus is our Lord, then our “allegiance” belongs to Jesus’ kingdom and not any other rule on earth. We become citizens of God\u2019s Kingdom.<\/span> We are to take on a new “Constitution” (<\/span>love God and love our neighbors<\/span>) and new values or laws (<\/span>There is no more man or woman, slave of free, Jew or Gentile, but one in Christ)<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Jesus\u2019 Kingdom is completely different from the one we face day-to-day in this world. It seems \u201cout of the world\u201d but our spritis long of the peace and joy of God\u2019s reign. Let\u2019s learn more about this other world!<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
