After working our way through the gospel according to John, filled with so many different claims by Jesus—I am the Way, the Truth and the Life, I am the Gate for the sheep, I am the Light of the world—who would have dreamed that all the grandiose titles would be true?  No one can explain it, including the earliest witnesses, but Jesus is the Resurrection, the Living God in our midst, the promised Messiah showing us the human face of God!  Come celebrate this great good news!

March 20 —

The hour has arrived.  God will be glorified.  Jesus will draw all people to his side, so we may become children of light.  His public ministry and signs are over.  Listen closely—can you hear the thunder?  Will we follow Jesus into hiding?
